ROOC Companion ("we", "the site") is a free, browser-based tool for planning Monster Research (MR) in Ragnarok Origin: Classic. This page explains what data is handled when you use it.

1. Data you enter stays on your device

The site has no accounts and no server database. Your MR progress, kill counts, language and settings are saved only in your browser's localStorage, on your own device. We never receive, transmit, or store this data. Clearing your browser data (or using the "reset" option) erases it, and it does not sync between devices unless you export/import it yourself.

2. Cookies & advertising

The site is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to serve ads. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

3. Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand overall traffic (for example page views and country). This does not identify you personally.

4. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA in California), you may have rights to access, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. Since we do not hold a database of users, most of your data is controlled directly by you through your browser. For advertising data handled by Google, use the opt-out links above. For anything else, contact us.

5. Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

6. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes are posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
