Cat Paw Caravan 2x

Recurring

The daily Fame faucet, running at double. Loading cargo for the caravan is where Fame comes from, Fame is what upgrades medals, and this event multiplies the whole thing for as long as it lasts.

When it ran

What the caravan is, on an ordinary day

The Cat Paw Caravan runs out of Alberta and supplies Malangdo. Every day it posts a cargo manifest; you submit what it asks for, and it pays Fame. That is the entire loop, and it is one of the quieter systems in the game because the payout is not something you spend — it is something you accumulate.

What Fame does is upgrade medals. Which places this daily errand upstream of account power rather than upstream of gear, and explains why players who otherwise ignore delivery content still load the caravan every day.

What the event does

It multiplies the Fame from loading. This edition ran at 2x, and the game has run the same event at 3x, 5x and 10x — the multiplier is the entire content of the event, so the only thing that changes between editions is how much a day is worth.

Which flips the usual arithmetic of a daily. Missing a day of loading normally costs one day of Fame; missing one during a 10x week costs ten. The event does not ask you to do anything new, it just makes the thing you were already skipping expensive to skip.

This edition has ended. It is kept because the format returns, and because the multiplier is the only variable — when the next one is announced, the number in the banner is all you need to read.
