September 10 patch: Glast Heim opens today, and card drops go to 3x for 15 days
Glast Heim arrives as a new map with four MVPs, the Gunslinger job goes live and Lv.95 accessories open up. The line that changes your week is smaller and easy to miss: from September 13 to 28, card drops from normal monsters run at three times the rate.
What it changes
- The maintenance is today: Sep 10, 04:50 – 09:00 (UTC−4)Times are server time (UTC−4).. The first notice had said 05:59–10:00 — that entry is corrected.
- Glast Heim comes in as a new map, and with it four MVPs:
Chimera,
Dark Lord,
Owl Baron and
Bloody Knight. There is a new Main Quest line for Base Level 99 and up. - ⭐ Card Loot x3 (Sep 13 – Sep 28): the card drop rate from field monsters runs at three times the normal rate — normal monsters only, MINI and MVP cards stay out — and the card drop-progress bar in the bottom right of the Bestiary fills three times as fast too. It is the same bar our card pages use to estimate days of farm.
- MVP Fever (Sep 13 – Sep 28): more daily rewards, and MVP respawn time is reduced.
- Gunslinger is the new job — ranged, firearms, with Rebellion as its Trans. 2nd Job. You can only switch into it from another Trans. 2nd Job, and it needs Server Lv.70+ and Base Lv.25+.
- Lv.95 Accessories, three pairs: Dreamy Moon Ring & Cosmic Eye Ring, Starry Aegis Necklace & Illusory Star Necklace, Holy Glove & Bluewing Glove. They drop from MVPs and MINIs, or combine from 300 Obscure Gems; dismantling one returns 60. Epoch and Aesir Branch rewards now guarantee 1 gem.
- Lord Knight — Sword Quicken now adds +1.5m of normal attack range.
- Crusader
- Devotion: goes from taking 130% of the damage the target receives to 110%, and gains a per-hit cap of (25 − VIT × 0.05)% of max HP, minimum 8%.
- Hymn: while active, restores 2% of max HP per second.
- Summoner
- Catnip Meteor: variable cast time from 2s to 1.5s, with a 0.8s floor, and the PvP rule that allowed only one within 3m of the centre is gone.
- Nyang Grass: keeps its effect for 8s after you leave the area, down from 30s.
- Mastersmith — A.A.S Turret is cut on three fronts: +2s cooldown, cannon duration from 15s to 10s, and its PDMG bonus goes from +10% per 800 Cart Load to +10% per 1000.
- Eight new cards: the MVP cards of the four Glast Heim MVPs —
Chimera,
Dark Lord,
Owl Baron and
Bloody Knight — plus the Illusion version of each. - The Radiance Trial weekly quests are on the fix list. The two League quests that only counted after a relog — we published that on September 1 — and the team had said they expected to fix them today.
- Quality of life: the Lv.50 and Lv.60 mount caps are gone, Guild League pays up to 15 , offline auto mode can sell materials by itself, and the weekly purchase limit on Illusion Card Redemption is gone.
- Five limited-time events run alongside Glast Heim, and each pays one : Memory Fragment, Clash of Chaos, Zeppelin Crafting and Version Express from Sep 10 to 28, and Odin’s Feast from Sep 14. Five fragments make the Airship mount, so skipping any one of them costs it.
- Two more, outside the Glast Heim screen: the Novawish Rebate comes back with the Libra sign (Sep 21 – Oct 19), and a new season pass, with the costume at level 100 of the paid track, runs Sep 21 – Oct 22.
What it changes for MR farming
From September 13 to 28, MVP respawn time is cut — and that is the window to push MVP research. MVP is by far what moves MR the most: at research level 5, a single MVP kill is worth 11,556 normal-monster kills, which at 40 thousand kills an hour is about 17 minutes of farming. At level 9 one MVP kill is worth 27,778 normal kills, or about 42 minutes.
But the number that decides your evening is not which kill yields more — it is where your attention is worth more. Normal-monster farming runs without you: auto mode keeps killing while you sleep or work, and from this patch it sells the materials by itself too. MVP does not run without you. It needs you in front of the screen.
So split the day along that line. While you are online, go for MVP — these 15 days are when it advances fastest, and it only advances while you are there. Keep the offline farm for the hours you are genuinely away: asleep, or at work.

Our take
15 days at 3x card rate is the line to act on, and it is the one buried deepest in the post. It runs September 13 to 28, and it covers normal monsters and nothing else — the ones you were going to kill anyway. MINI and MVP cards are out, so this changes farming and not hunting, and the drop-progress bar runs at 3x too. Everything else in this patch can be done later; this cannot. If you are picking a target, the card list sorts by attribute and carries the days of farm for each one — and for these 15 days that number is a third of what it says.
And our date was wrong. On August 29 we put this content on September 17, off the patch rail — 70 days after the Asian patch of July 9. The event rail runs 64 days and pointed at September 11. It comes today, the 10th, so neither rail hit it: this is day 63. We have learned from it, and the next call will be a sharper one.
