Tyr Cup Global
Arc
The guild tournament running across Asia and the Americas for a shared USD 1 million, in three points stages with a week off between each. Your guild does not register for it: forty members in Guild League is the entry, and most of it is played by simply showing up to the League you already play.
When it ran
- Aug 17 – Jan 11 running now Announced in Aug 13, 2026
You do not sign up
This is the first thing to get right, because it is the thing people wait for and it never comes. A guild with 40 or more members taking part in Guild League is already qualified for the points stage. There is no separate registration, no form, no window to miss.
Which means the tournament is mostly played by doing what you were doing anyway. The Cup is a scoreboard laid over the League, not a second thing to attend.
The shape of it
Three phases: Points, Registration, and Elimination. The elimination bracket splits into Tier A and Tier B, and each tier crowns its own champion guild — so there are two winners, not one.
| Phase | Dates | Battlefield |
|---|---|---|
| Stage 1 | 17/08 – 13/09 | Stellar Clash |
| Off-season | 14/09 – 20/09 | — |
| Stage 2 | 21/09 – 18/10 | Vale of Clash |
| Off-season | 19/10 – 25/10 | — |
| Stage 3 | 26/10 – 19/11 | Vigrid Avenge |
The off-season week is not a holiday, and it is not free either. Guild League runs normally through it, but the points you earn there do not count toward Major League, and promotion and relegation between the local server league and the Major League are suspended. It is the week where playing the same amount is worth less, and nothing on screen says so.
How the standing is decided
Ranking inside a division reads in this order: Division Points, then total guild kills, then total assists, then fewest deaths. Guilds that clear the promotion line at the end of the points stage go through to the eliminations.
From Top 32 through Top 4 the matches are BO5 — first to three. The Grand Finals are BO7, first to four. Maps are fixed, and only five members play each match, which is what turns a forty-person guild into a five-person team when it matters.
Tyr Expedition, the points track inside it
Running alongside the stages is a second scoreboard, fed by four weekly tasks. It is where the guild's ordinary week converts into Cup progress:
| Expedition task | Score |
|---|---|
| Two League victories | 3,000 |
| Guild activity reaches 15,000 in the week | 500 |
| 20 guild members with activity above zero | 500 |
| Two Prize Auctions triggered in the League | 3,000 |
Rewards land at 7,000, 14,000, 25,000 and 35,000 expedition points, and there is a personal track and an all-server track on top of the guild one.
Notice what the tasks ask for: two wins, a participation number, and two auctions. Only the first is about being good — the rest is about the guild turning up. A guild that plays its League and keeps its members active clears most of this without aiming at it.
The Thorring mount
100 combine into the mount, and they come from the Tyr Trial or Guild League matches held during the Points Stage. Two sources, not one — which matters, because a guild that is quiet on the Trial side can still collect the whole thing through the League it already plays.
